Evidence:
Supervisor Observation: During this lesson used the smart board (technology) to teach for student understanding- the students came into the classroom knowing the expectation because it was presented on the board. I also used sticky notes and an anchor chart as a formative assessment. I used an exit ticket as a summative assessment.
CT Observation: I used the board to teach student understanding by providing definitions for 4th-grade vocabulary in age-appropriate language the students understood. Used reading journals for morning work, T-chart activity, and to have the students form a complete sentence using synonyms as a reference for their independent practice summative assessment exit ticket.
