Evidence
At the beginning of the year, my CT and I got together and used student writing data to construct homogeneous writing groups to differentiate our instruction and provide an equitable learning environment. In doing this we are improving the learning outcomes of our students!
I used the data from my Plickers and created specific slides to add to daily instruction to review material with the students. For example, my second class scored 51% accuracy, therefore I knew I needed to review these prefixes and suffixes with the students. I added a slide to their instruction for the next day that reviewed these concepts and I will re-assess the students on these prefixes and suffixes again in a few weeks to see if the learning outcome has changed!
