In my level 4 supervisor observation #2, I sequenced the lesson by reviewing what the author's purpose was prior to the reading as well as showed a video for students to gain context on the topic and better understand the concepts they were discussing. I did the same thing the following day with a different text but similar concept, all relating to how the earth changes.
I also included relevant vocabulary that was in the text with images and examples to ensure students had all of the tools necessary to comprehend the text in order to achieve the learning target.
